Jooly's Joint Meets!
Jooly's Joint is the perfect way to make new
friends with MS.
Many of the people who have met on Jooly's Joint
eventually meet one another in real life, either one-to-one or at one of our
larger 'meets'.
Why not organise a party, BBQ or coffee morning
for Jooly's Joint members in your area?
Any member of Jooly's Joint can organise a meet.
But remember that they can take a lot of time and energy to organise so don't
try to do it all on your own!
Be sure to take lots of pictures and send them to
Jooly's Joint along with a few paragraphs about your meeting and we'll publish
them here on the Jooly's Joint web site!

Tips for successful meets
- Wherever you plan to meet make sure the travel
arrangements and venue are fully accessible. Check for stairs, wheelchair
access and easy access to toilets and refreshments.
- If you are meeting one person, take care. Be
sure to let your family know where you are going and take the same precautions
you would when meeting any stranger for the first time. Have your first meeting
in a public place if possible. Remember to take good
care.
- See if your local paper of radio station are
interested in writing a story about your gathering. This is a great way to
raise awareness of MS in your local area.
- Don't let distance get in your way! Your MS
Society or a local business might be prepared to help pay for your trip to see
your new MS friends.
