 Little Foot 2006
On Saturday 19 August 2006, Jooly joined hundreds
of other people with MS, our friends, families and supporters on a 10km walk
through beautiful English countryside to raise money for the MS
Society.
'Little Foot' took us on a trail through the
scenic Cotswolds in Gloucestershire, England, UK.
We started and finished at the famous Cheltenham
Racecourse. En route we took in beautiful scenery. But it wasn't as easy as it
sounds!
In order to enjoy the breathtaking views we had
to climb several kilometres up a slippery, muddy bridlepath. The last
fundraising event I did for the MS Society was a fashion show catwalk at Harvey
Nichols. This was the other extreme! Somehow, I managed to stay on my feet,
though the same cannot be said for my companion, David. He fell in the mud -
TWICE!
We completed the walk in around 2 hours 40
minutes (that included a brief stop for lunch at the top of the
hill).
We raised £500 in sponsorship and would love
to raise more!
